The present research aimed to describe the development of tourism management at Hostal Casa Tunki, located in the city of Cusco. A quantitative approach was used, with a descriptive level, basic type, and non-experimental design. The study population consisted of the 13 staff members working at the establishment, and a census-type sample was used, meaning the entire population was included. The data collection technique employed was a survey, and the instrument used was a structured questionnaire that allowed for direct information gathering on key aspects of tourism management. The results showed that Hostal Casa Tunki faces various operational challenges that affect both the guest experience and staff well-being. Although more than half of the staff have recently received training and report a positive work environment, there are still limitations in planning, service coordination, and internal communication. Additionally, the need to strengthen leadership, improve administrative processes, and optimize customer service was identified. In conclusion, it is necessary to implement strategies that promote more efficient tourism management, aimed at continuous improvement and the enhancement of service quality offered by the establishment.
